Fig Tree Bay is considered as the most popular beach in Protaras with crystal clear water and fine golden sand. This famous beach got its name from a lone fig tree overlooking the beach. With shallow waters and a huge beach this is the perfect place for a family day out at the beach.

Prophet Elias Church

Venturing into the tourist area of Protaras, we come across the chapel of Prophet Elias. It is built on a granite hill with almost vertical sides. In order to reach the chapel, one has to climb a set of 153 stone-built steep stairs, but once you get there, the view is mesmerising and a very popular spot to watch the sunset. The church is even more spectacular when it is lit up at night.

Ayios Nikolaos Chapel

Just a short walk from Andreotis Hotel Apartments, the charming Ayios Nikolaos Chapel is located at Louma Beach, right next to the picturesque fishing harbour of Protaras. Its vibrant colors and traditional design evoke the classic beauty of the Greek islands, making it a perfect spot for photos or a peaceful moment by the sea.

The Makronissos Tombs

Ayia Napa has one of the most interesting discoveries. In the area of Makronissos, discoveries of an ancient burial site were made. In 1989-90, Ayia Napa Municipality sponsored intensive excavations of the rock-cut tombs. Until today, 19 tombs have been excavated as well as a small sanctuary to the east and an ancient quarry next to the cemetery. The Makronissos Tombs can be visited daily and there is no admission charge.

Dherynia Folk Art Museum

The Deryneia Folk Art Museum is found in an old, traditional house at 2, Demetris Lipertis Street. The displays are organised in collaboration with the Cyprus Handicraft Service. The indoor and outdoor areas, as well as, the exhibitions with the different household items and farming tools show how functional the Cypriot, traditional house use to be. The presence of Mrs. Margarita and Mr. Varnavas Hadjiliassi give life to the place and are happy to give tours of the museum.

Protaras Pedestrian Promenade

Just steps from Andreotis Hotel, the scenic Pedestrian Promenade stretches all the way to Protaras town center and down to Pernera. Take a leisurely stroll and soak in breathtaking sea views, while discovering a variety of cafés and restaurants along the way perfect for a relaxing drink or a delicious meal during your day.

Green Bay Beach

With an abundance of sea life and crystal clear waters, Green Bay is one of the best areas for scuba diving or even snorkelling. The waters begin shallow and slowly deepen therefore there is much to see including, Wrasse, Bream, Cuttle Fish, Pipefish, Turtles and the occasional Octopus. The beach is just 400 metres away from the hotel.

Agia Napa Sea Caves

A short drive from Andreotis Hotel Apartments, the Ayia Napa Sea Caves at Cape Greco are a natural wonder shaped by millions of years of the sea pounding against the cliffs. Adventurous visitors can climb down to sea level to explore the caves—some of which are deep enough to walk right inside. Photography enthusiasts will love capturing the unique rock formations, and the caves are also one of the best spots in the area to watch the sunset.

Thalassa Museum

The Thalassa Municipal Museum is located at the centre of Agia Napa and it has the sea as a subject-matter. It is the first museum of its kind across the Mediterranean region with main principle to present to the audiences, the local and foreign visitors, the impact and the significance of the sea upon the history of the island. The exhibits of the museum cover a chronological span, from paleontological to historic periods until present times.
